Oxford with its libraries, galleries and museums, art and music, is an ideal city in which to study the arts and humanities, and the national and international collections in London are an hour away. The arts and humanities are a major strength of Brookes and the School has a national reputation for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses, for teaching and for research.

At Brookes you can study many of the subjects that traditionally make up the arts and humanities - English, Art, History, History of Art, Modern Languages and Music - but we also offer subjects that are not available in other universities.
